Great place and amazing food! We had ribeye steak, chicken Francesse and Cordon blue, and eggplant parmigiana. Everything was perfect! Will visit more often
Very good an large portions clean an quiet atmosphere ,waitresses are pleasent ,fairly reasonable prices.
The food here was amazing. Everything we had was seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Ate lunch there today and their food is outstanding. They were very accommodating and friendly, too. Definitely going back.
Get the awesome corvina fish over angel hair. Two meals huge. Reasonable price. Artichoke hearts, cream, cheese, mushrooms, capers! Nice people, prompt friendly service.
Portion size is ridiculously large. Service is friendly. Great value for the money. Our table had chicken marsala, fish soup and spaghetti bolognese. All of it was delicious and many leftovers. The bolognese wasn't what I am used to but it was delicious none the less. The fish soup is enough to feed an entire table and loaded with shellfish, calamari and fresh fish. Definitely recommend and we will be back.
The food was pretty good, and the lunch prices were also reasonable. I had the eggplant parmesan and my friend had the chicken parmesan with bowtie pasta. It was nothing to rave about but it was perfectly acceptable and the portions were pretty big. The ambiance was pretty even if they could improve it by playing Italian music rather than soul music, that was a little confusing. Location is great and the service was really good too. I'll maybe come back.
The Best in Southwest Florida. Moretti's is a real hidden undiscovered gem. I'm glad we found it. We had the Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Marcella, Wedding Soup and hot fresh bread. The service was amazing and we even met the owner because he comes after preparing the meals and greets his guests. I saw people order the duck, the Schnitzel, Seafood soup, Fish dishes and other wonderful creations. You have to take the drive, it it well worth it. Reservations are preferred, these meals are fresh! Enjoy!
Great good and prices. Service excellently
Very delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were also genuinely friendly and had some great recommendations for us. However, I would suggest going early because parking is sparse.
Hidden gem in the heart of Cape Coral. The food is amazing and the service even better.
Wonderful people! Awesome food terrific service
EXCELLENT food and service. I had Italian sausage raviolis and I definitely would have it again. Our party of 4 totally enjoyed every bite of our meals. Our server, Amy, was very pleasant and made us feel like we were her top priority. This restaurant is now at the top of our list when in Cape Coral.
The food was to die for the service was instant and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful if you like great Italian food you have to go.
Amazing food, amazing people. Can not wait to be back soon.
If it were possible to give 0 stars I would. Waited for an hour for chicken entrees. Saw so many disappointed customers walking out. Unhappy with the wait time with a. Almost empty restaurant
the food is really good and staff was friendly and welcoming i’ve been going here for the past years and glad its always been the same with new owners
Not very impressive if you stop here during lunch. Cuban waiter and cook pretending to be Italian. Their Espresso machine hasn't worked for 2 months as per the waiter. The food was terrible..old mashed potatoes and bread. Makes one wonder if the reviews are real or if perhaps they save the best for their dinner rush. Overpriced and lack of good customer service made Moretti Italian Grill a place I would not recommend if you want to eat good food and get your money's worth.
This is a great place to take a date. The food is real good. I like this place to celebrate at.
The Best! Don't tell anyone I don't want to wait in line...
Update on my last visit there. Food is still good there. There is a group of 15 people that go there once a month to celebrate a birthday. Our favorite waitress quit. The rest of the help are terrible. The wife tosses the salad with her hands. We are looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our birthdays.
Nice place that mostly only locals know about. Very unassuming from the road, but once inside the interior is as inviting as the friendly staff. Food portions are large so have an appetite.
We both went to eat moretti Italian grill we had water for beverages no desserts no apps a sole fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and an eggplant parmigiani and it came with one side so I chose mashed potatoes . The mashed potatoes seemed refried certainly not fresh so did the eggplant parmigiana the fettuccini alredo the chicken was dry looked dry and the presentation most definitely lacked overall. Employees wore no masks!!!! $33 for those two meaks for lunch was overkill . Choose wisely elsewhere
Enjoyed the Gnocchi pasta, my kids had the Lasagne and the Seafood carbonara delicious and tasty. My fave was the dessert the Cannoli tasted fresh. I recommend this place.
This is one fantastic Italian restaurant. I had the most delicious chicken parmesan and their marinara sauce is among the best I've ever had. My friend I was dining with enjoy the escargot appetizers and a salmon entree that were both excellent. Looking forward to going back and trying more of the delicious choices on the menu
Truly amazing! Wonderful selection of items to choose from. We will definitely go back. Thank you, for a fantastic dinner and your staff was friendly and professional too. Not many places around to brag about but yours, I'm bragging! Loved it.
Luciano never disappoints. For a beautiful meal, don't forget to check out Moretti's
My husband and I went tonight and I have to say we were very happy with this place!!! He had Lamb Osso Buco and I had Fillet Mignon Gorgonzola We really enjoyed both dishes!! Being from an Italian family and New York we are not easily impressed but we were definitely pleased. My husband was even deciding what he was going to order next time
New owners but same quality of the product...the filet mignon is the best...
Very good food there is much to choose from. The portions of food is huge. The server's are very good plus they are very quick. I will be going back again soon.
Food was excellent blonde server needs to inform patrons of menus changes. Also when asked the difference between dishes know what ingredients.
The food is always delicious. I especially like that they have gluten free homemade pasta! I am disappointed that they can’t open for lunch at this time. The online menu seems incomplete. Great service!
We have been here many times and I've had some nice food but this time was not their best. Service was slow food took forever to come out. How to seafood pasta and ask for no clams but got clams in it very watery and very little flavor. Our Guest ordered schnitzel and it was overcooked vegetables for cold pasta came after the dinner was presented. Owner and Chef was arguing with his wife but that seems to go on all the time. Lots of other Italian restaurants around probably will not go back this year I know they can do better.
The food is great and the service is amazing
A must go restaurant. Excellent food and service in a wonderful environment. What an improvement. Kudos to the new management, waitress and new chef. Keep up the great job.
Charming atmosphere and excellent service.Just re-opened under new ownership and staff.Kitchen staff needs additional training on preparation of Italian dishes.I know the owner and expect great things. I'll definitely be back!
New Management lacks quality had the Jaeger Schnitzel very thin and dry three mushrooms total, in the sauce very watery deeply disappointed, the fried calamari where not crispy and the marinara sauce had no flavor, the owners don't speak English luckily the waitress tried her best
This restaurant just changed ownership (which we weren't aware of). They are clearly still working out the kinks. There were four of us, we arrived just after 5. One of the only occupied tables. first basket of bread was a little stale (but rest were good). dinner took so long to come out they brought french fries? They were clearly the frozen bagged krinkle cut fries.... just kind of strange. My husband had shrimp skewers, shrimp was cold by the time they got it to our table. My daughter had spaghetti and meatballs, sauce was just OK. My son had chicken Alfredo, sauce was bland, I had the pork osso buco, which was salty without much flavor. Servers were really nice, but food was terrible.
We are on a vacation here for 2 weeks and picked Moretti Italian Grill from reviews on line and it was the BEST!!!! Will be back
Lasagna was a small piece in the center of a bowl. The rest of the bowl was filled with what appeared to be old sauce (some meat was in it though). Needed quite abit of salt and pepper. Nothing like the old Moretti's.
The owner couldn't be more rude. Italian's are generally family orientated. I wouldn't give this guy a sandwich if he were starving. The wife is a perfect fit for him. Thing 1 and Thing 2. And I grew up in Italian restaurants and married into an Italian family, so take it from somebody who knows better. Keep away from this place. Poor, poor customer service. If you notice, they always have a help wanted sign out front because no one can stand working for these people.
Service and lunch menu are both great! This at least a weekly stop for our group.
Pizza was good , not a pie, just personal sizes
Wonderful staff! We made reservations for 8:30pm (they closed at 9pm) we called to say we would be 15mins late and if it was a problem to let us know, they welcomed us in! Food was delicious and service was spectacular! Highly recommend!
My family and I have been coming to Moretti’s since they had their restaurant on Matlacha. The food is always fresh and hot when served. Absolutely delicious meals! My favorite appetizers are Mussels & Spicy Mango shrimp and my go to meals are the Seafood Carbonara or Gnocchi Scampi. Luigi, the head chef is from Italy and knows how to cook up anything.
Didn't hate it but the crab cakes we're all bread couldn't find any crab meat if you looked for itMy friend scallops were fishy and chewy and the shrimps were like frozen and defrosted. Very unimpressed.
The food taste old, good but I can tell if it was made today!!
The reviews were good, the photos showed delicious food...so of course we went there! What a huge disappointment! We were the only ones there at 7 PM on a Saturday night....not a good sign. Where do I begin...literally everything was terrible! From the water which tasted bitter (?) to the marinara sauce which tasted like watered down generic tomato soup. Everything tasted just plain old bad! Even my Pepsi! I have no idea how this place got good ratings! I always try to support local restaurants and shops but I will NEVER go back to this place! Yuck!
Gnocchi scampi and veal Marsala The gnocchi scampi is very good. It’s a different sauce than it used to be in but still very flavorful and all the seafood for the price is great! The veal Marsala is also amazing!!!
This is one of the three best Italian places in the area. Relax , home style......
